It's been talked about since about six months before the last instalment is released, but Meet The Little Fockers is moving ahead at last, with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Robert De Niro set to return to the fold and John Hamburg working on the script.

As the title suggests, this effort will revolve around the children of Gaylord "Greg" Focker (Stiller) and his now-wife Pam Byrnes (Teri Polo), and Greg's continuing attempts to please - or at least appease - disapproving father-in-law Jack (De Niro). No doubt there will be hilarious scrapes along the way, and at least one of the children will have an outrageous name. Wilson, incidentally, whose Kevin Rawley is a former fiance of Pam and also an ordained minister, is expected to have a bigger role this time around.

Hamburg wrote both previous films, Meet The Parents and Meet The Fockers, so it's no surprise that he's back onboard to rewrite an earlier draft by Larry Stuckey. Jay Roach, however, will *not *be returning to the director's chair, taking a producing role only, so feelers are out to a number of other directors, including Peyton Reed (Yes Man), David Wain (Role Models) and Paul Weitz (About A Boy).
