While not strictly Super Bowl TV spots, these two new ads, crafted by movie partner Turkish Airlines for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice are a crafty blend of air travel promo and movie teaser.

Even if you could argue advertising standards doesn't really let you claim your airline flies somewhere that doesn't exist, it's a different way to grab some attention for the movie, featuring a blend of footage you imagine was shot for the film and new moments with Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor (for Metropolis) and Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne (for, by process of elimination, Gotham City). No spokesgobbing from Henry Cavill's Superman, though he does briefly appear in the Metropolis spot. And you can't imagine Kal-El fronting an advert for Krypton for the obvious reasons. It's okay Supes, we understand about your home.

Zack Snyder's latest finds the Man of Steel criticised for the destruction wrought in his previous superhero outing, a new, hidden threat from Lex and a more direct challenge from Batman, who figures Superman is an alien threat to humanity. And that's without all the other heroes, including Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, who will pop up in this one.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is out on March 25. Head to our full pageant of Super Bowl trailers here.
