Well it's your lucky day, because here are some new photos from Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close, the new film out here on February 17.To say that this film has the odds in its favour might be fair. After all, nicest-man-ever Tom Hanks and nicest-woman-ever Sandra Bullock star as a married couple, it's directed by the Oscar-friendly Stephen Daldry and based on the book of the same name by Everything Is Illuminated author Jonathan Safran Foer.
Then again, it actually focuses on a young boy called Oskar, played by complete newcomer Thomas Horn, and deals with the 9/11 tragedy, making it a bit different from your usual cuddly family drama. Oskar is a sensitive, intelligent sort who becomes obsessed with figuring out what a key belonging to his dad opens, after his father is killed in the attack on the World Trade Center. His search brings him into contact with others around the city, played by the likes of Max Von Sydow, Viola Davis and Jeffrey Wright.
