Rattlesnakes, occult-like glyphs, dismembered Barbies: it's fair to say that when you're working as a movie forensics specialist you need to approach each working day with an open mind.

A case in point is the backwater in which Julianne Moore's forensic psychiatrist finds herself in this clip from supernatural horror Shelter. Looking like somewhere Toy Story's Sid might retire to, this is clearly not a place to linger. This is a place to sprint away from, waving your hands about and screaming "run away!!" at the top of your voice.

Unsurprisingly Moore's Dr Jessup plumps for the lingering option as she attempts to uncover the murky past of multiple personality disorder sufferer Adam (Jonathan Rhys Meyers). Each of the personalities he assumes, she discovers, are murder victims. The plot, as they say, thickens.

You can find **Shelter **when it's released across the UK on 9 April.
