Bone Deep Gets A Bigger Cast

Now this really is turning into a hostage situation. The cast of upcoming heist thriller Bone Deep has swollen once again with the news that Michael Ealy (set to star in Spike Lee’s Miracle At St Anna), Steve Harris (from .Rec remake Quarantine), Jay Hernandez (him from Hostel), Marianne Jean-Baptiste (the lovely lady from TV’s Without A Trace), Zoe Saldana (Uhura in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek - pictured) and Johnathon Schaech (erm, Prom Night) have signed on the dotted line.

Variety says they will flesh out the roll call alongside fellow cast members Hayden Christensen, Paul Walker, Matt Dillon, Idris Elba and Chris Brown in the John Luessenhop-directed film about a group of ambitious bank robbers and their repeated run-ins with a dogged detective.

While Luessenhop has only one previous directorial effort to his name (the little seen prison drama Lockdown), there's enough quality talent (and Schaech) attached to this project now to make us sit up and take notice.

More details will be coming your way as soon as we get them.
