Studios like to make a big impact at the San Diego Comic-Con, and Warner Bros. has something really big on offer. No, not Tom Hiddleston's online following (though that doesn't hurt): Kong! And the simian star of Kong: Skull Island is the main draw for this new poster, even if he is somewhat hidden for now.
Due next March, Skull Island will see a group of explorers head to a mysterious island in the Pacific, unaware they’re about to cross paths with the infamous mythical creature. Joining former SAS man and tracker T. Hiddy on this particular quest are war photographer Brie Larson plus John C. Reilly and John Goodman. Chances are we'll finally be seeing something beyond the early stills when Warners brings Hiddleston and the rest out for the panel on Saturday morning.
Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, the cast also includes Straight Outta Compton’s Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham and Toby Kebbell, who has a little bit of experience with computer generated simians himself...
