The first official image from the Supergirl/The Flash crossover episode of Supergirl, "World's Finest," has been released and it's a clever take-off of a classic comic book cover. In that original version, the Man Of Steel is racing againt the fastest man alive. In this case, though, it's Melissa Benoist's Girl Of Steel up against Grant Gustin's The Flash.
Warner Bros. describes the plot as follows: "Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home."
The story for the episode is written by executive producer Greg Berlanti, with a teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg and Michael Grassi. It's directed by Nick Gomez.
In America, the episode airs on March 28th.
