Between this and the Patriots Day teaser that has just arrived, we could call this the Unofficial Michelle Monaghan Trailer Day. She's part of the new Jamie Foxx crime thriller Sleepless, which has posted a first look online.
Adapted from French thriller Nuit Blanche, the movie finds Foxx as undercover Las Vegas police officer Vincent Downs, who is caught in a high stakes web of corrupt cops and the mob-controlled casino underground. When a heist goes wrong, a crew of homicidal gangsters kidnaps Downs’ teenage son Thomas (Octavius J. Johnson). In one sleepless night he will have to rescue his son, evade an internal affairs investigation and bring the kidnappers to justice.
In addition to Foxx, you have T.I. as his tough cop partner, Monaghan as the internal affairs officer who isn't sure of his motives and Scoot McNairy as the scheming villain Rob Novak out to take back what belongs to him. Sleepless is out in the States on 24 February, but doesn't have a confirmed UK date yet.
