Walter White Vs. Alien? Lots of people have lots of reasons to dislike James Franco, but Bryan Cranston has a real grudge in Why Him? Take a look at the first, redband (so don't let any 15-year-old children watch it) trailer for the new comedy.

I love You, Man's John Hamburg is behind this one, which could be called I Hate You, Man. Cranston is Ned, an overprotective, loving dad who adores his smart, sensible daughter (Zoey Deutch, who is studying at Stanford. But when he, his wife (Megan Mullally) and son (Grffin Gluck) go to visit her for the holidays, he discovers to his horror that she's dating Laird, an obnoxious, awkward and downright odd "internet zillionaire".

Despite the obvious appeal of his child potentially marrying someone rich, it's loathe at first site for Ned, despite all of Laird's increasingly bizarre attempts to curry favour with the man he's already considering his father-in-law. And so the wackiness builds...

Cranston going up against Franco seems like it could be funny and there are some chuckles here. The film itself arrives next year.
