George Clooney behind the camera. Matt Damon, Julianne Moore and Oscar Isaac in front of it. A Coen brothers script. Suburbicon has something of a dream team behind it, and we've just been treated to a new trailer – take a look.

A dark crime comedy set in the 1950s, the Suburbicon of the title refers to a peaceful suburban community, full of white picket fences and manicured lawns. That peace is about to be shattered when the wife of Gardner Lodge (Damon) is murdered. What follows is a bloody tale of revenge against some rather unsavoury mobsters. Also, Matt Damon rides a little child's bicycle for some reason.

The original script for Suburbicon dates back to the 1980s. The Coens wrote it after completing their debut, Blood Simple, and it languished in studio archives for thirty years, before being revived by Clooney, who re-wrote it with with regular partner Grant Heslov. Suburbicon will be out on 24 November in the UK, following a 27 October debut in the States.
