With an eventful Season Six of Game Of Thrones almost finished, it's nearly time to bid farewell to the assorted heroes, scumbags, dragons and eunuchs of Westeros. The sixth season is ending big with a super-sized 69-minute finale called The Winds Of Winter, and there are some teasing new pictures of the episode online.

At the top of the page, you can see Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in counsel with Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage). Having held off the attack by the slavers against the city of Meereen and the arrival of Yara (Gemma Whelan) and Theon (Alfie Allen) Greyjoy with their fleet, their thoughts are surely turning to the next step.

Then there's Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Bronn (Jerome Flynn), who are still in the lands of Walder Frey (David Bradley) and trying to figure out how to act now that the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) seems to be the main authority in Kings Landing. Talking of, there's the matter of Cersei's (Lena Headey) trial, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) looks to consolidate his victory at Winterfell, and, of course, Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), having escaped the White Walkers (for now) figuring out how to help in the fight against them. Winter is still coming, people. And since the next season has been planned as the last, expect things to ramp up from here. Will Arya (Maisie Williams) find her way home this episode? And might we catch up with what has been happening in Dorne, because everyone really remembers that plot line...
