The Baby of the title is not some prodigious, wheel-wrangling infant, but Ansel Elgort's getaway driver and the best in town. Cursed with an endless ringing in his ears after a car crash during his childhood, he uses music to drown out the sound, and his personal, pulsing soundtrack helps him in the driver's seat.
He usually works for crime kingpin Doc (played by Kevin Spacey) and his associates, including Buddy (Jon Hamm), Bats (Jamie Foxx), and Griff (Jon Bernthal), but Baby is looking to get out of driving in circles to evade cops and head for life on the straight and narrow with girlfriend Deborah (Lily James). But it might not be so easy for him...
Baby Driver has recently gear-shifted its release date, and will now drive into UK cinemas on 28 June in the UK and US.
