Because tearing around with Ansel Elgort and the gang in Baby Driver was clearly not enough car action for her, Eiza González is off to the Fast & Furious franchise. To be specific, she's joining the spin-off, Hobbs And Shaw.
The movie, which sees Dwayne Johnson's Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw teaming up (not always easily) to take on a big threat in the form of Idris Elba's villainous Brixton, has been shooting for a while under the direction of Atomic Blonde's David Leitch.
González' character is unknown, but Variety has learned it's a key role that was a last-minute addition. She joins a cast that includes Vanessa Kirby and Eddie Marsan. The movie itself will be out on 26 July 2019.
It's a busy time for the actress, who will be juggling this role with work on Godzilla Vs. Kong. She'll next pop up in Welcome To Marwen (out 1 January), Alita: Battle Angel (due 6 February) and comicbook adaptation Bloodshot.
