Matthew Vaughn is gathering quite the cast around Taron Egerton's returning Eggsy and Mark Strong's Merlin for Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Add another to the list as Jeff Bridges announced via Twitter that he's on board.

Like several others (including the potential return of an old friend), Bridges posted an image of a poster for the movie that includes a hint about his character. Nothing has been announced beyond the fact that Eggsy will be going up against the devious machinations of Poppy (Julianne Moore).

With Sophie Cookson back as Roxy and Edward Holcroft once more playing Charlie, Egerton's main man will be joined this time by Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal and Elton John as Eggsy teams up with the American equivalent of the Kingsmen, the Statesmen, to fight the new threat.

Jane Goldman is once again sharing script duties with Vaughn and the film will be with us on June 16 next year.
