Despite decades of rumors to the contrary, the anthology is apparently not dead as Bryan Cranston will be starring in Electric Dreams: The World Of Philip K. Dick, a 10-part anthology series. And not only will Cranston be starring (though whether that will be as a single or multiple characters is unknown), he's executive producing along with the likes of Battlestar Galactica and Outlander's Ronald Moore, The Adjustment Bureau's Isa Dick Hackett and Justified's Michael Dinner.

Notes Moore, "As a longtime fan of Philip K. Dick’s work, it’s a tremendous honour and thrill to be part of this series. His short stories are a treasure trove of material for artists to draw from, and I think this will be a very exciting project."

"This is an electric dream come true," adds Cranston. "We are so thrilled to be able to explore and expand upon the evergreen themes found in the incredible work of this literary master."
