Bradley Whitford

He might still be best known for playing Josh Lyman on The West Wing, but Bradley Whitford has enjoyed a healthy career on screens big and small. His latest movie gig will see him sharing the screen with his largest co-star yet, as he's joined the ensemble for Godzilla: King Of The Monsters.

Director/co-writer Michael Dougherty already has Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Sally Hawkins, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Charles Dance, Ken Watanabe and the recently-cast Thomas Middleditch in the film, and he's cranking the cameras now, working from a script he crafted with Zach Shields.

As for what the story features... That's still being kept a secret, though it's fair to guess that it'll feature the big G squaring off against some new monster foes and the humans trying not to get squished. The Hollywood Reporter's story offers no details on what Whitford will be up to. The actor was last seen in Get Out and has films such as Megan Leavey and The Last Full Measure on the way.

Godzilla: King Of The Monsters is due on 22 March, 2019.
