Aziz Ansari added sitcom co-creator/occasional director to his various other credits with last year's successful Netflix series Master Of None. The show is back for Season 2 and the full trailer has arrived.

Choosing to just hint at rather than spell out what Dev (Ansari) might have been up to, the new trailer shows him initially in Italy, where he headed at the end of the first season, after breaking up with girlfriend Rachel (Noël Wells). From the looks of his European endeavours, Dev has had some fun, been out on several dates and spent time with friends such as Arnold (Eric Wareheim) and indulged in some culinary delight.

But he's drawn back to New York to take on challenges in his personal and family life, explore a career opportunity and figure out his relationship.

With Lena Waithe, Kelvin Yu and Ansari's own parents in the cast, Master Of None's second season arrives on Netflix on 12 May.
