Noah Baumbach is a past master at chronicling dysfunctional family dynamics, and for his latest, The Meyerowitz Stories – The Meyerowitz Stories to give it its full. marquee-endangering title – he's assembled quite the cast. Check out the teaser trailer below.
Meyerowitz features Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and Elizabeth Marvel as grown siblings who have to deal with their own lives, and the long shadow that their strong-willed father (Dustin Hoffman) has cast over their lives.
It's a chance for Sandler to show his dramatic chops again in a way he rarely displays on screen, and this feels like the right Baumbach project for him to do it in. The director premiered the movie at Cannes and it'll head to the States for the New York Film Festival ahead of launching on Netflix on 13 October.
