Mistaken by a bunch of single European market nasties for a deep cover CIA agent, Michael Corben (Grieco) finds himself suddenly plugged into a comic book world strewn with secret agents: cue hijinks with red sports cars, exploding gum, gravity defying trainers, rockets, sleeping gas, and a tough, but strangely vulnerable girlie (Anwar) who's trying to avenge her father's death (blimey... Roger Daltrey).
With his sculpted body and impossible eyebrows, Grieco is an attractive - if unlikely - schoolboy in Paris for the vacation because he's flunked French. The villains (Rees and usually excellent Hunt) are the stuff of bad Marvel Comics, and newcomer Gabrielle Anwar plays the herione with the fire and grace of a coathanger. Despite a clever action set piece at the end, William Dear - who directed Bigfoot And The Hendersons - can do nothing to stop the first of the autumn of 1991's Grieco vehicles from sliding unstoppably into a big ugly ditch.
