Original Title:

Secret Sharer

A Polish sea captain rescues a sexy Chinese stowaway after she goes overboard in this drama based on a Joseph Conrad story. Konrad (Jack Laskey) hides Li (Zhu Zhu) from the Chinese crew and her angry husband. The setting feels authentic; unfortunately dialogue and the performances do not.

As Apocalypse Now and The Duellists prove, Conrad tales have been adapted into fine films down the years. This, though, isn't one of them.
