Original Title:

Rudo & Cursi

But this is rarely anything more than an entertaining romp, going for belly laughs rather than satirical incisiveness. A huge domestic hit, it’s slick and fun but lacks depth, and marks an underwhelming debut for Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro and Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Cha Cha Cha production outfit.

Definitely played for laughs, this avoid the deeper side of sibling rivalry in favour of comedic set pieces.
