Westworld Season 1 Episode 10

The 2017 Emmy Awards will be handed out in a couple of months, and now we know which shows and people are up for nominations. It's a good year for series such as Westworld, Stranger Things and new entry Atlanta, among others.

While HBO didn't have its 800-pound gore-illa (Game Of Thrones) in contention this year, the cable channel still made a good showing outside of its Westworld nomination haul, with the likes of Silicon Valley and The Night Of scoring some nods among the 110 it racked up.

Netflix also saw a lot of nominations come its way, with Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Master Of None, House Of Cards and various castmembers nabbing a place at the table. And Hulu finally properly cracked the race, with The Handmaid's Tale netting 13 nominations. And the US broadcast networks, which have been taking a beating in certain categories these days, came back strong with hit show This Is Us landing 11.

We'll find out who gets to make a speech on 17 September in a show hosted by Stephen Colbert. The main categories are below, but you can find the full list at the Emmys site.
