Universal has acquired the rights to an L.A. Weekly article called How To Get Divorced By 30, and plans to make it into a romantic comedy. The piece, written by Sacsha Rothschild, ruminates on the idea that people should have a starter marriage to get them used to the goods and bads of matrimony before taking the plunge with Mr/Miss Right. She gives fifteen steps to getting out of the first marriage.

The movie will feature a woman prescribing to this theory but having her mind changed by the realities of relationships.
