Given that they’re responsible for one of the best films of the year, we’re delighted to see that **The Hurt Locker **director, Kathryn Bigelow, and the screenwriter, Mark Boal, are reteaming on another thriller, entitled Triple Frontier.

Details about the movie’s plot are being kept under wraps, but it has been revealed that the film will take place in ‘la triple frontera’, the crime-ridden border zone between Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina, where the Igazu and Parana rivers converge, making it incredibly difficult for law enforcement to gain a foothold.

Sounds like Triple Frontier, which is being pitched as an ensemble movie, could be another slice of gripping grittiness from Team Hurt Locker.

Charles Roven will produce the movie, with Paramount picking up the cheques. Boal is writing the screenplay once again, while Bigelow will direct. Both will executive produce.
