Roger Spottiswoode, director of Arnie cloning thriller The Sixth Day will be coming down to earth for his next project The Spire. Based on a William Golding novel about the construction of the spire on Salisbury cathedral, the film is quite a departure from the high-tech action of The Sixth Day and Tomorrow Never Dies.
