You remember Samuel L. Jackson, right? Tough man and action hero and Quentin Tarantino regular. Except now he's taking on a different role, that of childcarer, in Man That Rocks The Cradle.

The film sees an overworked father of four who decides that the solution to all his family's problems will be to hire a live-in nanny, and ends up with Marion Delacroix, a reputed "kid whisperer" from the Deep South. Jackson plays Marion - which was, after all, John Wayne's real name, so let's not all snigger at once. Snigger.

The script's by newcomer Josh Cagan, based on a story he wrote with Waiting...'s Rob McKittrick, but there's no word on other talent yet. Still, if Super Nanny wants to make a break into films, maybe they could find a cameo for her?
