The run of post-Christmas picture previews continues today with Disney releasing new looks of two of its biggest animated projects for 2012. Throw your eyes down to the gallery for new looks at both Pixar’s Brave and Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie, courtesy of Collider.

Neither of the pictures offers much in the way of truly revelatory content – after all, we know what the main characters in the films look like already, but it’s always nice to see some extra imagery.

Brave, of course, is the Emeryville gang’s big release for the year, and what we hope will wipe the unpleasant memories of **Cars 2 **from our collective brains. We’ll finally get to see Brave on August 17. But we’ll have to wait until October 5 for Frankenweenie, Burton’s new stop-motion effort based the 1984 short that helped make his name in Hollywood.

It’s the typically twisted (yet utterly charming) tale of young Victor, who harnesses his scientific know-how to resurrect best pal and pet Sparky when the pooch is killed. While he initially tries to hide his creation, Sparky gets out and causes trouble for the town…
