In all the ballyhoo and attention given Inside Out this year, it can be hard to remember that Pixar has a second film headed for cinemas. To make sure it sticks in your memory and evades the forgetters, here’s a new clip from The Good Dinosaur.

Set in a world where the asteroid missed Earth and the dinosaurs did not go extinct, the film finds young Apatosaurus Arlo (Raymond Ochoa) separated from his family and desperate to return home. On the long and perilous journey, he encounters a human cave-lad he names Spot (Jack Bright) and the pair forms an unlikely bond for the story of a boy (dinosaur) and his dog (boy).

The clip shows off the beautiful cinematography of Pixar’s latest, which blends the more cartoony characters with some gorgeous, realistic backgrounds and flora. And introduces a character named Forrest Woodbush (voiced by director Peter Sohn), an oddball dino who has a collection of smaller animals with comically over-dramatic names he claims protects him from the dangers of their world.

With Jeffrey Wright, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott, A.J. Buckley, Frances McDormand and (of course) John Ratzenberger among the voice cast, The Good Dinosaur roars into UK cinemas on November 27.
