Marvel Comic Characters

Following on from the company’s latest stab at TV with Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., it appears Marvel is ready to make even more of an impact on the small screen beyond its animated fare. According to Deadline, it has an intriguing package of four drama series and a miniseries ready to shop to the likes of Netflix, Amazon and other VOD providers, plus the regular US cable channels.

This being Marvel, of course, security is tighter than a SHIELD briefing, and no one is saying anything solid about what the shows might actually feature. It’s also early days for the project and there’s zero word about attached talent.

Apparently there has already been interest from numerous possible carriers, though a deal is ways off because we’re sure companies will want to know what they’re getting in this ambitious plan – and agreeing to make 60 episodes as a job lot is no small commitment.

In addition to Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. (which has been struggling in the ratings but recently scored a full season order), Marvel has been rumoured to be developing a show built around Agent Carter, though there is no sign whether that would be part of any deal.

So come on then: in an ideal world, which Marvel characters would you want to see on TV? Suggestions below and on Twitter, if you please.
