Well, this is a pair of names we never thought we'd see together. Ashton Kutcher and Jennifer Jason Leigh will star opposite each other in Spread, a name which sounds a distinctly unpleasant when you find out that this is a sex comedy.
Kutcher will play a serial womaniser and Leigh will be one of his former lovers. David MacKenzie (Young Adam, Hallam Foe) will direct from a script by Jason Dean Hall.
Well, this is intriguing, to say the least. Kutcher is all manic and big in his comedy, while Leigh is quieter and more subtle. So it'll be interesting to see how the two mesh. We can't quite see it, but, hell, what do we know? This is not your cue to say 'nothing'.
