Though he usually prefers to stay in the background overseeing the movies and making decisions on characters, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is sometimes called upon to do press. In a new profile of the executive, he’s revealed a few nuggets about the company’s upcoming plans.

Naturally, Feige is keen to keep spoilers to a minimum, but when Bloomberg Businessweek’s reporter notices a map of planned future Marvel movies, the famous far-reaching plan for Feige and co comes to light again.

“It’s like looking through the Hubble telescope. You go, ‘What’s happening back there? I can sort of see it,’” says Feige. “They printed out a new one recently that went to 2028.” Nothing is said about the movies further in the distance, but we know that named films are planned at least through 2016 with a third Captain America adventure.

There have been several new characters rumoured to be joining the onscreen ranks, with Doctor Strange’s named dropped in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and others set for the small screen via Netflix’s Defenders series. Plus there are the sequels to the existing heroes, with **Thor **likely to score another film and, in the Feige profile, a reference to potential Guardians Of The Galaxy spin-offs should the movie be successful and new characters in Avengers: Age Of Ultron being primed for potential standalone adventures. There's more within the piece itself so check it out – but beware minor spoilers.
