Break out the celebratory whisky! Despite a lot of positive reviews and plenty of attention for the show, there has, until now, been no word about a second season for Marvel and Netflix's Jessica Jones. The good news has finally arrived, and the series will be back at an unspecified date.

The second of the original four-series (plus The Defenders miniseries) order in the collaboration between the comic book company and the streaming service, Jessica Jones has been a big success, and producer/show-runner Melissa Rosenberg has constantly had to field queries as to when – or even if – it might return. While we don't have a date, at least we know a new series, of the show, based on Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos' graphic novel series is being planned.

And though there's no exact schedule for Jessica's return, Netflix has gone on an announcement spree, using its appearance at the Television Critics Association winter press tour to tout a batch premieres for new and returning shows. Those new to the service include Will Arnett's Flaked (March 11,) comedy series The Ranch (April 1), drama series Stranger Things (July 15) and the first, six-episode series of Baz Luhrmann's music-driven drama The Get Down, which launches with its first episode on August 12. Returning series announced included Tina Fey's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (April 15), Grace And Frankie (May 6) and Orange Is The New Black, which is back June 7.
