As Game Of Thrones continues shooting its fourth season in Belfast and elsewhere, a number of new faces have been added to the cast for the latest series. We already known that Mark Gatiss will crop up as Tycho Nestoris, representative of the Iron Bank of Braavos,, and he’s joined by a list that includes Indira Varma, Michiel Huisman, Joseph Gatt, Roger Ashton-Griffiths and Pedro Pascal.

While not all the newcomers’ characters have been named (the Thrones team often likes to keep things under wraps, though book fans can offer educated guesses), we know who almost all of them will be.

Varma, familiar as Loofah's Luther’s murdered wife Zoe, is no stranger to HBO, since she played Niobe in Rome, and will play Ellaria Sand. Dutch actor Huisman, who has appeared in US shows such as Treme (another HBO production) and Nashville, will be replacing Ed Skrein as Daario Naharis, one of Danerys’ mercenaries.

Gatt, who was on the big screen as one of the Frost Giants in Thor and a science officer in Star Trek Into Darkness, is set to play Styr, Magnar of Thenn.

Roger Ashton-Griffiths, a veteran UK actor, joins his former Tudors co-star Natalie Dormer as Mace Tyrell, father to Margaery (Dormer) and Ser Loras (Finn Jones). Finally, we have Pedro Pascall as Prince Oberyn Martell, The Red Viper.

Game Of Thrones should be back on our screens in April next year. But first, winter is coming.
