It's been a journey 75 years in the making but finally, after what seems like endless waiting, Wonder Woman is getting the movie vehicle she deserves. After stealing both Batman and Superman's thunder in Dawn Of Justice, Diana Prince's own star vehicle lands on 2 June and we have an exclusive first look in the April issue of Empire.

First revealed by Gal Gadot herself, the cover features DC's premier superheroine in action but it's merely a teaser for the eight pages of WW-themed excitement inside the issue. And that's not all. You'll also find behind-the-scenes looks at Ghost In The Shell, Beauty And The Beast and Iron Fist, as well as the usual heady cocktail of news and reviews, plus a Yorkshire pudding shaped like the Millennium Falcon.

The issue is on sale at all good (yes, and evil) newsagents from Thursday 23 February so be sure to pick up your copy. Want to get your copy days before anyone else? Subscribe to Empire here{ =nofollow}.
