The animated adventures of Dora The Explorer charmed young 'uns of a certain generation for years, and her impact continues with both a cartoon show headed to Netflix and a live-action movie Dora And The Lost City Of Gold, which features Isabela Moner as the title character. A trailer for the latter is now online.

Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora for her most dangerous adventure ever – high school. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeff Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria and Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.

Other casting for this one is a bit more unexpected, with Danny Trejo on as Boots (will this be a more violent version of Dora's simian friend than we're used to?) and Benicio Del Toro as Swiper. No swiping!

Directed by The Muppets' James Bobin, Dora And The Lost City Of Gold will be in UK cinemas on 16 August.
