In addition to the early concept art and character shots from Tim Burton's weird and wonderful Alice In Wonderland, two more shots - this time of Alice herself, as well as Tweedledum and Tweedledee - have popped up online.

It looks like Matt Lucas really has been eating all the pies, as he is animated into an almost egg-like form as the rotund Tweedle twins. Obviously no one told the poor Tweedles that horizontal stripes just aren't a flattering look.

Mia Wasikowska's Alice is suitably demure and innocent looking standing atop a saucer in the topsy turvy world of Wonderland. Unlike the original Lewis Carroll tale, Alice is a seventeen year old, returning to Wonderland a decade on, with no recollection of her first visit as a seven year old girl.

The film version combines elements from both of Carroll's Alice stories - Alice In Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass - adding that distinctive Burton quirk along the way.

Alice In Wonderland is due in cinemas on March 12 2010. Only nine months to wait for this baby!
