James Cromwell – best known for his work in LA Confidential and Babe – is joining the cast of Spider-Man 3.
He’ll play Captain Stacy, father of Gwen Stacy (Bryce Dallas Howard). In the comics, he blames Spider-Man for her death. It’s not known yet if that plotline will form part of the new film.
Sam Raimi is about to start shooting Spider-Man 3 in LA.
