Last week, Empire revealed two exclusive new Rogue One covers for our latest issue. The first featured the merry band of rebels – lead by Felicity Jones – tasked with stealing the Death Star plans in the Star Wars standalone. The second featured the fearsome Director Krennic, played by Ben Mendelsohn. Both covers will be on sale from Thursday – but this cover of considerable beauty will be plopping onto the doormats of subscribers from today.

The limited edition cover features the new droid K-2SO, also known as “Kaytoo”. The military enforcer droid is played by Alan Tudyk via performance capture, and it was Tudyk who first revealed the cover, on Twitter.

As well as this rather frameable bit of cover art, subscribers will also be the first to read our extensive Rogue One coverage, where we speak to director Gareth Edwards with typically unparalleled levels of access.
