Elizabeth Banks Taking Walk Of Shame

Elizabeth Banks is keeping herself busy on two fronts these days. Not only is she appearing in the likes of the Hunger Games movies, but she’s also producing films like Pitch Perfect.Next, she’ll be putting on the acting hat for a new comedy called **Walk Of Shame.

Banks will star as an aspiring news anchor who scores an audition at a Los Angeles station, only for it to go badly.

Thinking that she’s lost her shot at her dream job, she heads out for an uncharacteristically wild night of partying, and wakes up the next morning with no money, no car, no memory of what happened the night before and a phone message from her agent telling her she actually won the gig.

But this won’t be a Hangover-style attempt to recreate what she got up to the night before: instead, she must head out on a perilous “walk of shame” across unfamiliar neighbourhoods in order to make it to the station to be on the air by 5pm. Seems like a tough requirement for someone to be hired one day and on the air the next afternoon, but that’s the stakes.

Drillbit Taylor’s Steve Brill wrote the script and will direct the film. His work will also be seen next year in ensemble comedy pic** Movie 43**. Banks will also show up in that film, as well as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and** Every Secret Thing**. Pitch Perfect is next, arriving on December 21.
