Being Brando

Director Ridha Behi spent months interviewing Marlon Brando in 2004 for his latest film Brando And Brando. But work on the documentary, which chronicles a Tunisian kid’s quest to meet his favourite thesp, was halted by the slightly tricky problem of the great man shuffling off the mortal coil.

But now it’s all back on and Behi will finish the film across the next six weeks, with filming in Cannes this week, followed by production in the UK, US and Tunisia. Oh, and the film also has a new name: Citizen Brando. Featuring interviews and work by Christopher Walken and Hend Sabri, the final footage should be a feast for Brando fans as it features hours of recorded interviews with the Godfather himself.
