Animation giants announce Crood Awakening (UPDATED)

Not content with taking over the known animation universe with the forthcoming stop-motion extravaganza, Wallace And Gromit: Curse Of The Were-Rabbit (which Empire saw 20 minutes of today, and it looks absolutely amazing; more on that in Chris' Daily Diary tomorrow) and the CG comedy, Flushed Away (ditto), our very own Empire Award-winning animation gods, Aardman Animation, today announced plans for a new feature film. The movie, to be called Crood Awakening, was announced by Aardman chief, Peter Lord, and will mark the Bristol-based company's fourth collaboration with DreamWorks.
