Original Title:

Moebius

South Korea's master of the morbid, Kim Ki-duk, turns to jet-black comedy in a story that starts with a vengeful woman cutting off her son’s private parts with a carving knife. An enjoyably perverse and wordless family crisis ensues, ending on a surprisingly spiritual gracenote.

Even Oedipus would be left scratching his head by this bonkers but drily funny tale of one family's forlorn search for normality.
