George Miller's Mad Max trilogy was never big on plot and here, after a brief flashback that resets the scene - nomads scour the post-apocalyptic scenery looking for gasoline - he's into an all-out stuntfest with Mel Gibson pitting his pecs against an bunch of codpiece-sprouting goons.
