There are shades of early Almodóvar in this frantic comedy from English director Harari and his Spanish wife Pelegri, which casts aside the more serious aspects of its subject matter in favour of endearingly quirky characters and easy laughs. However, the film is just a bit too frenetic for its own good, going for all-out wackiness rather than taking a more measured approach, and becoming rather hit and miss as a result.

Fun, but slight and forgettable with it.
