When Sharon Gless, the type of upper middle-class housewife who always suffers inordinately in based-on-true-story made-for-TV movies, wakes up one night to find her husband stabbed to death and herself bleeding from multiple wounds, the cops suspect her Dungeons And Dragons-playing acid-head son might be mixed up in the crime and, considering the title, there's not much suspense in their investigation.
Given the blatant guilt of the younger generation in the cast, Gless seems incredibly obtuse in her long-held belief that her boy didn't become a junior psycho. It all comes out in court with choked-back tears, halting testimony and horrified looks.
