Original Title:

Great Hip Hop Hoax, The

Or how two Dundee lads ‘became’ American, formed rap duo Silibil N’ Brains and took the record industry for a joyride. At its most compelling when the scam turns sour, this impostermentary on dual identities and toxic ambition is good, raucous fun, even if the joke’s overstretched.

Although the story feels stretched to feature length, it's a rollicking ride through the music biz in the company of two piss-taking Scots and their mics.
