We Are The Giant Review

A documentary that takes us onto the ground of the Arab Spring, with the first-hand experiences of civilians embroiled in its violence.

Although lacking specific context and fussily presented, this is a harrowing account of the Arab Spring as witnessed by seven reluctant and committed activists in Libya, Syria and Bahrain. The footage of the violence inflicted upon civilians is truly terrifying.

A little baroque in its presentation, this is nevertheless a pungent and hard-hitting look at the events across Arabia in December 2010. A worthy companion piece to The Square.
