Original Title:

Ducktales: The Movie – The Treasure Of The Lost Lamp

Wealthy archaeologist Scrooge McDuck, who has lived his life in the shadow of his lisp-ridden spotlight-hogging nephew Donald, discovers the lost lamp of the Collie Baba which — hey! — has a wish-granting genie inside.

Donald’s nephews (remember Huey, Louie and Dewey?) may wish for a CD player, but the evil wizard Merlock who is in hot pursuit wants the lamp for other, more sinister reasons.

This is similar to the traditional Disney cartoons that featured Donald Duck back in the forties, but with more modern references to keep today’s kids interested (the ducks even shout “Cowabunga” as they scuttle off to hide under a basket).

Essentially a longer version of the Ducktales TV cartoon series
