Original Title:

Blood Money

A Desperate Hours-ish suspenser with redneck mastermind Sonny Carl Davis busting out of prison with a couple of pet psychos and terrorising the reformed partner who ratted on him and took the witness protection scheme. Also mixed up in the murk are James Brolin as the cop, Billy Drago as the FBI agent and Traci Lords as the crackhead gun moll. It has a twist ending that is surprising but wildly unconvincing, and suffers because it can’t make the stoolie hero (Dean Tarrolly) at all sympathetic.

Unconvincing actioner
