FIFA 06: Road To FIFA World Cup

n development for almost two years, EA’s first FIFA 360 game should be packed with features guaranteed to make PS2 and Xbox owners green with envy.

In reality, this half-baked sim lacks the depth of recent editions launched on less powerful machines.

Essentially, the only thing this version brings to the table is updated graphics and animation, which simply isn’t enough when you consider the power and potential of the 360. But what really makes Road To The FIFA World Cup offensive is that many options from the recent FIFA 06 have been stripped out – including the club teams, FIFA lounge and manager mode – making it feel like a filler title rushed out to cash-in on the 360 launch, and a soccer sim that should be avoided at all costs.
